Christmas Party and Gift Exchange

We had a wonderful time tonight at our Christmas party.  Thanks to everyone who came, and for those of you who weren't able to come, we really missed you!

We met at Gallagher's for dinner and drinks.  E helped me with photos and got a couple of selfies in along with it.  ha!

I only had my cell phone (forgot my good camera), and the flash was set to Auto, but it never went off.  Sorry some of the photos are kind of dark.

Some "next generation" quilters joined us.  They did a great job participating in the events.

T even brought a quilt block that he had sewn that day to show us.  How awesome is that?

And then there was dessert!  I love me some hot fudge brownie sundae!

And then we had the gift exchange.  Everyone who brought a gift got her name in a drawing.  When her name was drawn, she got to go pick a gift from the table.  The rules were:  The gift had to be handmade, smaller than a breadbox, and in the modern vein.

Deb received a super cute bag.  We were all adoring that fabric on the outside of the bag.  We all wondered what it is.  Anyone know???

UPDATE:   The fabric is Sewing Machines from Timeless Treasures.  I found it at www.fabric.com here, if you are interested in it:  https://www.fabric.com/buy/0301579/timeless-treasures-sewing-machines

Joanne received a wonderful wallet!

Mary (sorry for the super dark photo) received a neat travel jewelry holder (or a sewing notions holder, depending on how you purposed it!).

Jill received a matching set of zipper pouches.

Sharon received some adorable hand-knitted Christmas ornaments.

Terri received a zipper bag (Sew Together bag).

I received this cute iPad holder.  I'm going to use it on my bedside table to hold my new iPhone 6Plus when it's charging.  Do you notice the fabric?  It says "wine bar."  Perfect for me!  LOL.

Sharon received an adorable pouch.

Susan received a beautiful set of coasters.

It was a lovely time.  I wish you all could have been there.  As I said at dinner, I am so grateful for this group of wonderful people.  You all center me and give me so much joy.  Thank you!  We missed all of you who are out of town or were otherwise occupied.  Happy holidays to everyone!  I hope you enjoy some lovely time with your families.  See you in January for our next meeting.  More to come on that.

Also, between now and January, I'll get photos up about the retreat and our last meeting.  Sorry I'm so behind.

My best to all of you!

See you in November.  I can't wait for a weekend of sewing fun.
