Hello, Modern Quilters! We are so excited to have our member Lisa Ruble teach us how to make her awesome ZuZu Squares quilt! We will be meeting at the Oshtemo Library Saturday, 27 April, at 10:00am. Please reserve your spot ($10 deposit) for the workshop (on the left-hand side). Space is limited! Those attending will need to buy the pattern from Lisa’s shop. Pattern is available for purchase starting April 11 in her Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/LovetoColorMyWorld.

You should have received an email with info on fabric requirements. If not let us know and we can get it to you.
Also, Christine McElhone will be teaching us how to crochet with fabric strips in June! If you want to plan ahead, strips should be 1.5" wide. The length can vary, but 10" or more works best. There is no need to sew the strips together -- simply cut a slit approximately 1/2" long VERTICALLY at both ends of the strips (about a 1/2" from the ends) and Christine will show us how to join them together. You will also need a P or Q crochet hook. More details to come later.
Registration for the Laura Heine workshop will open in May. We will let you know the date and time so we all have equal access to signup.
Don't forget your block for the swap. Reminder we are at Oshtemo library and not downtown for this meeting.
Anyone interested in hosting a social meeting let us know. I believe we still have an opening for May.
See you soon.
