She will be teaching techniques from her book, No Scrap Left Behind: 16 Quilt Projects That Celebrate Scraps of All Sizes.
Participants should purchase a copy of the book prior and bring it to the workshop. Amanda Jean says "The class participants can pick any quilt from my book. It's fun to see what everyone chooses! It's good because each student has different kinds/shapes of scraps to use up." So bring a pile of scraps too. Different quilts in the book use different types of scraps. Supply List [PDF]
We will be meeting at the Kalamazoo library downtown (315 Rose St) in the Van Deusen room. Directions and parking info here. Remember you don't need to feed the meters on weekends.
We have the room from 9-4:30. Please bring your lunch and snacks. The workshop will be the full day, with a trunk show during the lunch break.

ReplyDeleteWe are interested in also taking this workshop, are not currently guild members, but have heard some really great things about the guild and are interested in getting more info about it. There would be 2 of us to take the workshop, should it become available. Where do I go from here?
